Individual Therapy

Individual therapy allows an individual to discuss feelings, emotions, and thoughts in a non-judgmental space. The benefits to Individual Therapy include:


-Understanding and learning ways to cope with mental illness, crisis, loss, and/or adjustment

-Greater connection to yourself and other
-Ability to learn coping skills and how to set boundaries

 

Group Therapy allows a group of people to come together to work on improving their lives. The goal is interpersonal learning and allow the members to talk about how they feel in relation to each other.  The benefits of Group Therapy include:
-Helps the group member realize that they are not alone in their struggles
-Facilitates giving and receiving support
-Helps you relate to others (and yourself) in healthier ways

 

Couples Therapy is a specialized type of family therapy where romantic partners are the targets of the intervention or therapy.  Benefits of Couples Therapy include:
-Learning and understanding how to resolve conflicts in a healthy manner.
-Development of communication skills that will foster a healthy relationship.
-Learning how to express one's needs without resentment or anger.

Family therapy is a type of counseling that can help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts. Benefits of Family Therapy include:
